So let me preface this by saying i’m going to spend my money on Warhammer miniatures because i am in fact, quite mad. I’ve had an idea percolating in my head for awhile about some things i want to build, and today i’m going to show you sort of how that is going to work, if i am in fact the modeling wizard i hope to be (I probably am not, but it’s going to be fun to try) The army project i am going to be putting together is a Tempestus Scion detachment to roll around with either my Deathwing Terminators, or my Imperial Knight Titan household. They also would be good allies for my Adeptus Mechanicus army (and if i wanted to try full Imperial Soup, they could hang out with everybody). So, let’s take a look at the kits i’m planning to pick up (At or around Gencon) and see what sort of trouble I’ll be trying to get into with these minis.

Test of Honour (Skill Cards)
Hey Game Fans, we’re back with another article on our new favorite skirmish game, Test of Honour. Today we’re going to finish up our look at the Starter Set by taking a look at the rest of the cards in the Starter Set. These fall into one of three broad categories, Skills, Dishonor, and Injuries. Each of these interacts with the game in a different way and allow you to do things that operate outside the rules. Let’s dig into the skill cards and see where we get to.

Test of Honour (Recruitment Cards)
Hey Game Fans, we’re back with another article on our new favorite skirmish game, Test of Honour. Last week we put together an article about how units activate, and we realized we sort of put the horse before the cart. Today we’re going to talk about the Recruitment cards you use to build your force, and very briefly cover the attributes on the cards. We’re only going to talk about the ones that come in the Starter Set, so you can familiarize yourself with these units before you start building your models.

Guardians of the Galaxy (MUMG)
Continuing our series on the teams for the Marvel Universe Miniatures Game, we’re going to take a closer look at the Guardians of the Galaxy team. Currently the smallest team, it has the core members of the team from the movie, Nova, the Thing, and Dr. Doom. There are several potentially fun additions that Knight Models can make to the team, and the Guardians have a surprisingly deep bench of potential team members. Now we’ve all ready covered the Thing and Dr. Doom with our feature on new releases, so if you’re interested, dig back through the archive on the right hand side of the screen and take a look. Let’s take a closer look at the starter set then and see what sort of trouble we can get into.

Shows you should be Watching
All right Game Fans, we're back for another round of Shows you should be watching. Today's two RPG streams are amazing, and I am going to talk about a couple of wargamer channels you should check out.
MDF Terrain (Two Good Looks)
All right Game Fans, today we’re going to take a closer look at one of the two major types of scenery you’ll find for your tabletop wargaming (or Role-playing) needs. Today we’re going to focus on MDF terrain kits. Now I'm sure two questions just popped into your mind. First “What the hell is MDF?” We’ll get to that in a minute. Secondly, “What’s the other major kind of scenery?” The other primary type of terrain you’ll find are plastic kits that need to be assembled like the models for your Wargame.

Getting Started with Miniature Wargaming (The Models)
Morning Game Fans, we’re back with another article on getting started with miniature gaming. After some consultations with wizened sages, (thanks Ash) we came to a perspective for miniature wargaming that basically flows from the idea that “You either got here from the game first, or minis first.” Most players will have either visually been drawn to the aesthetic of the models and that’s what pulled them in, or they were pulled in by the game’s mechanics after borrowing pieces from a friend. The best part is that either way completely works from a gamer perspective.
