Bits Box Picture Gallery

This was originally supposed to go up with my bits box article, but the scheduling wires got crossed and that article dropped earlier than it was supposed to.  I have put together a few pictures of the Bits Box I use for parts (this one is specifically for Terminator parts).  These are easy to find Plano tackle boxes.  The internal compartments have inserts that allow you to customize the internal layout for whatever parts you want to store.  I use the same box for my X-wing ships, and my D & D dice plus minis.  Let's get a look at those pictures, shall we?

Army Rebuilding Project Part 3 (WTF is a bits Box?)

Hey Game Fans, we’re back with another article taking a look at Warhammer 40,000’s 8th Edition, and how we’re going to bring our 7th edition (okay, mostly 6th Edition) army forward.  We’ve gone over the rundown of our Deathwing army including what units we have, and the likely purchases we need to make soon.  Check back on the other two articles in this series Here and Here for more details.  Then i did some cleaning last weekend and found my Terminator parts Bits Box and cried a little inside.

Warhammer 40,000 Army rebuild (8th Edition) Part 2

Hey Game Fans, We’re back with another take on our Warhammer 40,000 army project.  Last time we talked about the Deathwing Terminators of the Dark Angels Chapter and our current level of troops in that group.  Now there are a couple more loose threads we need to cover, and then we need to talk about what else we need to pick up to flesh the army out and make it better/more interesting to deal with.  (You can check back on that article here)

Warhammer 40,000 (8th Edition) Army Rebuild

Hey Game Fans, we’re back with some more work on our Warhammer 40,000 army and working out a list and some other nonsense.  The first part of the process for me personally is to put together a list of the units i have and what they are armed with.  So i spent a chunk of time on Sunday making a list, checking it twice, and seeing what models i had from my 7th edition version of my Deathwing list.  Bear in mind, this list has precisely 0 dreadnoughts in it, and i have also left out the Land Raiders that would be traditionally carrying my guys into battle as well.  So let’s dig into the Models i have, and see what sort of trouble shakes out.

Warhammer 40,000 (8th Edition)

So, we’ve been kicking the idea of covering a little bit of Warhammer 40,000’s new edition since we heard about it the first time.  There are tons of people covering a lot of aspects of the game, filming battle reports and taking time to show off the game.  We honestly thought what could we add to that discussion?  We haven’t even gotten a game in of the new edition!  Then we started telling stories of past games and other terrible days that happened in Warhammer, and we decided to take a look at what this new edition of Warhammer looks like to us, and what it adds to our experiences.  We might get around to battle reports and list building ideas at some point (and probably pictures of our armies once they’re completely painted), but today we’re going to give an of what we’ve seen and what we like so far.
