 Hey Folks, we’re back with another product review, and some hilariously good news.  The SO’s Kickstarter box should have gotten here by the time y’all are reading this, so we’ll have an unboxing of that package some time next week.  One of my ABSOLUTE favorite things about the BattleTech Plastic mini range is the Blind Salvage Boxes you can get (If you can find the damn things.  They’re exceedingly rare here in Texas, and i am hoping they resume shipping soon).  I got a bunch with the Mercs Kickstarter, and i’m going to share what fell out of the Boxes with you.

 Hey Folks, Today is the Day!  Our BattleTech Kickstarter package came in!  Well, one of them did.  The SO and I each backed and had our stuff shipped as separate orders.  My stuff is in, hers is not.  She is less amused than I am.  So, the grand box has arrived, and we’re going to do a big unboxing, (I’ll do separate reviews of individual products in the coming weeks, but this is the grand boxening).

Gunfight at Red Oak Starter Set

Hey Game Fans, we’re back with another article on Wild West Exodus.  Today we’re going to break down the Wild West Exodus Starter Set Gunfight at Red Oak.  Now this is a two player starter set with two Lawmen specific models, (Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday) and two Outlaw specific models (Frank and Jesse James).  The rest of the models in the box can be used for either faction. Also included are a pair of K-9 Gun Dogs, a pair of K-9 Attack Dogs, a Ranger Interceptor, and a Frontier Outrider.  Also included are all of the dice, templates, tokens and other things you need to play the game, and of course a copy of the rule book. Test of Honour (Unboxing Article)

Hey Game Fans, we’re back with an article on one of our new favorites, Test of Honour from Warlord Games.  It’s a skirmish game set in feudal Japan, and covers a variety of potential scenarios and army building choices.  Today we’re going to unbox the Test of Honour starter set (we picked our copy up at Recruits 26, this last weekend in Lee’s Summit) in pictures to try out a new format.  We’ve done unboxing videos in the past, but we’re going to try a photo gallery with words.  Let’s dig into Test of Honour and look at what’s in the box.

Overview

 

The Test of Honour Starter Set come with the components to make 35 plastic miniatures ( 20 Ashigaru spearmen, 10 Ashigaru bowmen/musketmen, and 5 Samurai).  It also has 10 specialty dice, 10 special plastic multibases, 21 Red Faction Recruitment Cards, 21 Blue Faction Recruitment Cards, 6 Injury Cards, 10 Dishonour Cards, 23 Skill Cards, a host of Tokens, and 2 Dimensional Terrain pieces.  

Let’s break down each of those things and take a closer look at the components to see just exactly what we’re talking about.
